Your Top Responsibilities
- Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Updating accounts payable and performing reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
- Assist the team in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
What We Expect from You
- 2-5 years of experience as an accountant.
- A BA/BS degree in Accounting or a related field.
- A background with a stronger focus on accounting over finance is required.
- Proficiency in implementing and upholding best practice accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Fluent English and Arabic languages.
