Join Stryker’s Finance team in a role focused on accurate financial reporting, account reconciliation, and month-end accounting activities within an international environment. You will support assigned entities by analyzing financial information, resolving account balances, preparing journal entries, and maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards and corporate policies.
What you will do
- Perform account reconciliations for assigned entities and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
- Investigate and resolve unsupported or outstanding account balances.
- Prepare journal entry calculations and supporting documentation.
- Analyze financial statements and identify items requiring further review.
- Execute month-end closing activities and complete related accounting requests.
- Provide journal entry and reconciliation backup documentation in response to business requests.
- Escalate unusual activity and aged items to management to support timely risk assessment.
- Apply corporate accounting policies and comply with US GAAP and applicable local accounting standards.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting function.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, formulas, and charts.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with financial reporting systems.
Preferred
- Experience working in a finance or accounting function within a multinational or international organization with complex reporting practices.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or QAD, or experience working in a shared services environment within a large or global organization.
