Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for:
Accountant
Type of Employment: Permanent
Location: Riga, Latvia
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting in accordance to Group deadlines and guidelines for business units on monthly, quarterly and year end basis;
- Manage operational issues, resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities faced in accounting and reporting area;
- Ensure close dialogue with Business units in Europe and North America;
- Support internal and external audits for business units.
Qualities that would help you to perform in this position:
- University degree with Accounting specialization is preferred;
- Solid experience (3+ years) in accounting within an international work environment;
- Strong analytical and accounting skills;
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process will be considered as an advantage;
- Ability to work in a changing environment;
- Good computer skills and general accounting system background. Excel skills at Advanced user level is an advantage;
- Fluent English language skills (oral and writing) to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders;
- ACCA certificate (or started ACCA studies) is considered as an asset.

Skills Required
