Job Title: Accounting Analyst
Position Summary
The Accounting Analyst will support the General Accounting tower, focusing on journal entry preparation, analysis, and month-end closing activities across Cash & Intercompany for APAC, EMEA, and NAMER regions. This role requires a high level of accuracy, analytical capability, and initiative to identify process improvements and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and post journal entries for assigned area (Cash, Intercompany)
Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to meet deadlines.
Ensure all transactions comply with company policies, internal controls, and Accounting Standards
Investigate and analyze unusual entries or variances; propose corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, Reporting, FP&A) to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate tasks, and improve efficiency.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and system enhancements.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
CPA license (preferred but not required).
Experience:
2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (shared services, General Accounting, or audit background preferred).
Solid understanding of accounting principles and journal entry processes.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in all MS application; experience with Workday system is an advantage.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Initiative-driven, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Adaptable to shifting priorities during peak closing periods.
