The Account Technologist Strategist(ATS) is the technical leader and trusted technology advisor for Microsoft’s customers in Malaysia.
This role partners closely with the Account Executive to shape customer technology strategy, drive cloud and AI adoption, and architect secure, scalable, and compliant solutions aligned to government priorities.

Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Advisory
Own the technical relationship with customer CIO, CTO, CDO, CISO, and Enterprise Architects.
Develop and maintain longterm technology roadmaps aligned to customer transformation agendas.
Position Microsoft as the strategic platform of choice across cloud, AI, security, data, and modern work.
Solution Architecture & Envisioning
Lead cloud and AI envisioning, architecture design, and technical validation.
Drive adoption of Azure, Copilot, AI services, security, and industry solutions.
Ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and data residency requirements.
Technical Orchestration
Act as the technology quarterback, orchestrating STU Specialists, CSU, ISD, and partners.
Guide customers through Microsoft’s lifecycle motions: Inspire & Design, Empower & Achieve, Realize Value, Manage & Optimize.
Support proofofconcepts, pilots, and technical decision milestones.
Consumption & Value Realization
Partner with CSU and customers to accelerate Azure Consumption Revenue (ACR) and realized business outcomes.
Drive customer success metrics, adoption health, and value realization.
Partner & Ecosystem Enablement
Provide technical leadership to partners engaged in customer delivery.
Ensure architectures follow Microsoft best practices and standards.
Qualifications
Experience
10+ years of experience in technical sales, cloud architecture, or enterprise IT.
Strong background in cloud infrastructure, data platforms, security, or AI.
Skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior executives.
Strong architecture, problem solving, and design thinking skills.
Experience working across multistakeholder, regulated environments.
Preferred
Azure certifications or relevant cloud/architecture credentials.
Experience with government, regulated industries, or critical national infrastructure.
Familiarity with AI, Copilot, cybersecurity, and sovereign cloud models.
