Account Representatives needed in the USA - Nashville.

Are you a Sales Rep with heavy industry/manufacturing experience?

Do you have a strong technical knowledge with electric motors and other manufacturing/mining equipment?

Have you the confidence to hunt new accounts as well as develop current accounts?

We are working with a global, $multimillion client who are technology innovators, custom manufacturers, and electrical systems troubleshooters for heavy industry. They design, engineer, produce, and service industrial power systems and control systems, specialising in electric rotating machinery for high-demand applications across mining, mills, and heavy industry. Due to growth, they are looking for an Account Representative to be based in Nashville, Tennesse.

This Account Representative role will report to the Regional Sales Manager and be responsible for developing sales within the region and provide technical support and training to clients.

As an Account Representative you will be responsible for the following:

  • Seeking new opportunities to reach and exceed assigned revenue targets.
  • Creating revenue generating events within the portfolio.
  • Prospecting and qualifying new sales leads.
  • Achieving set sales quota's, KPI's, and various sales metrics set by executive management.
  • Monitoring and providing information on the competitive marketplace.
  • Crossing and Up selling a diverse offering of industrial & technical products and services across parent company portfolio, including sister company product lines.
  • Developing and maintaining strong ongoing relationships with prospects, customers, and co-workers. Organizing customer meetings (in-person and virtual), presentations, workshops, and site visits.
  • Engaging in and contributing to sales meetings and initiatives for planning, strategizing and successfully implementing sales objectives.
  • Communicating competitive market information to help sales support team build competitive bids.

Here's What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, motor repair, mining, petrochemical, oil and gas, steel & aluminum mills, or other heavy industrial fields preferred OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Results-oriented mindset, focused on the execution of goals
  • Ability to create and maintain a strong sales funnel
  • Proven track record of successfully exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to manage technical issues effectively
  • Experience with Microsoft Office & CRM
  • Strong self-initiative with the ability to effectively work without direct supervision
