What will you be doing?

Account Manager
Location: Home based, with expectation to travel Nationally for client meetings and team collaboration (Office locations in London, Basingstoke and Dorking)
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our growing team here at Unum UK. This person is responsible for building strong relationships with an agreed panel, achieving sales targets, and growing the business block.
This role involves a significant amount of account management, you will need to understand Unum’s strategic growth goals and be involved in multiple projects around progress and continuous improvement.
You will need to have a technical understanding of organisational risk products, pensions or employee benefits products, providing insight into positioning our proposition to best meet customer needs.

What will you bring?

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • In depth knowledge of the group risk market (Preferred)
  • Proven track record of delivery within intermediary sales
  • Knowledge of adjacent markets, products, and services
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels
