Job Description:
DTN is looking for a talented and motivated Account Manager to join the Ag Media Sales team. The Account Manager will join a team of Ag Media Account Managers that are focused on generating and growing market share in advertising and marketing spend from agribusinesses. This role will focus on new business and reactivating lost business, as well as maintaining and growing select existing accounts.
What you’ll be responsible for:

Pursue current and prospective print and digital advertising customers in designated account list

Network with customers to identify and address specific needs

Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success

Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients’ requirements are met

Identify and attract prospective customers, including new programmatic marketers
-
Negotiate contracts and Reply to RFP’s
-
Collect and analyze sales data and trends, follow-up with metrics
-
Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards

Collaborate with sales team and be flexible with ability to implement strategies for new products

Stay up to date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales
What you’ll bring to the role:

Proven work experience as a National Account manager, marketing knowledge preferred, but not required.

Experience in agriculture marketplace
-
Solid experience in sales and customer service

Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting client’s requirements

Ability to work independently to manage assigned book of business

In-depth understanding of print and digital sales performance metrics

Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Strong communication skills

Ability to lead and work with media team members

Availability to travel as needed

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $63,000 and $70,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
