About the Position

We’re seeking a dedicated and client-focused Account Manager in the Cedar Falls area with a strong background in project management and client communication. This role is integral to our agency, bridging the gap between our creative team and our valued clients. The Account Manager will lead client communication, present creative ideas, and work closely with creative teams to relay feedback to ensure that projects align with client expectations and are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

The Account Manager will oversee the day-to-day development and coordination of projects, serving as the primary liaison between clients and our talented production team. This role involves ensuring that client needs are met, projects are delivered on time, and budgets are adhered to. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading client communication, including presenting creative ideas and relaying feedback to the production team.
  • Proactively leading strategic client discussions and planning for future needs based on fiscal year and budgeting trends.
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  • Coordinating tasks and staff assignments to optimize efficiency and meet project deadlines.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with the creative team to deliver projects that align with client expectations and objectives.
  • Experience in identifying priority projects and working with internal teams to manage workload.

Qualifications

  • BA / BS Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience in an agency-based client-facing role.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or client services. Agency experience required.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience working with creative teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for client service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture.
