Manage Ericsson’s strategic customer relationship in Riyadh by developing executive and operational stakeholder partnerships, identifying and advancing complex telecommunications opportunities, coordinating cross-functional teams, leading negotiations and contract closure, and ensuring customer satisfaction and profitable business outcomes. The role also includes account planning, forecasting, pipeline management, governance, risk management, and translating customer business and technology needs into compelling value propositions.

About this opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to strengthen Ericsson's engagement with one of our strategic customers.
This role is centered on building trusted relationships, navigating a large and complex customer organization, and converting customer priorities into sustainable and profitable business opportunities. The successful candidate will engage stakeholders across technology, business, procurement and leadership functions while coordinating Ericsson's internal teams to deliver a consistent and compelling customer proposition.
Prior knowledge of Ericsson's products and solutions is beneficial. More important is the ability to understand the customer's business, learn new technology domains, manage complex stakeholder environments and lead opportunities from early engagement through commercial closure and execution follow-up.

What you will do:
  • Build, maintain and expand trusted relationships across the customer organization at executive, management and operational levels.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the customer's organization, decision-making dynamics, business priorities and technology agenda.
  • Create and maintain stakeholder maps and engagement plans across multiple customer functions.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities by connecting customer needs with Ericsson's capabilities.
  • Lead complex sales engagements from opportunity identification and qualification through solution development, negotiation and contract closure.
  • Mobilize and coordinate internal stakeholders across solution domains, service delivery, commercial management, finance, legal and product organizations.
  • Develop and execute account and opportunity plans aligned with customer priorities and Ericsson's growth objectives.
  • Build alignment among stakeholders with different objectives and manage complex or sensitive customer situations effectively.
  • Maintain momentum across opportunities by establishing clear actions, ownership and decision timelines.
  • Lead commercial discussions and support profitable growth while managing contractual, delivery and business risks.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management and account governance.
  • Maintain accountability for customer satisfaction and business outcomes after contract closure.
  • Strengthen Ericsson's position as a trusted strategic partner.

The skills you bring
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in account management, consultative sales or business development within telecommunications, ICT, technology or a comparable complex B2B environment.
  • Strong track record of developing relationships and influencing stakeholders within large, complex organizations.
  • Experience managing multiple customer and internal stakeholders with different priorities and levels of authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and progress complex opportunities through long, multi-stage sales cycles.
  • Ability to understand customer business and technology needs and translate them into clear value propositions.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with business cases, pricing, negotiation and risk management.
  • Strong ownership, judgment, problem-solving and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams without relying on formal authority.
  • High standards of ethics, integrity and compliance.
  • Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.

Preferred
  • Experience working with major telecom operators or similarly complex strategic accounts.
  • Knowledge of one or more telecommunications domains, such as Radio Access Networks, Core, OSS/BSS, Cloud or Managed Services.
  • Experience with major technology transformation programs and complex commercial engagements.
  • Familiarity with the Saudi telecommunications market.
  • Existing relationships within the relevant customer organization.
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization
