The Account Manager role combining new customer acquisition, account expansion, and renewals. We are looking for someone who will actively contribute to growing Acronis' business in the region by developing new opportunities, converting leads, expanding existing accounts, and building a strong and predictable sales pipeline. The candidate must be able to speak German fluently.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Responsible for renewing existing license contracts (50%) and up- and cross-selling existing customers (50%)
- Responsible for the renewal of customer maintenance contracts in DACH region; this includes providing quotes directly to customers and/or their assigned channel partners
- Responsible for upselling customers and identifying opportunities for add-on sales of other Acronis products
- Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potentials; building rapport, providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations
- Handles customer and partner inquiries related to quotes, pricing, co-terming, up-selling and reinstatement of maintenance contracts
- Positively interacts and collaborates with Customers and Acronis partners
- Assists in negotiation of maintenance agreements and upsell deals
- Work closely with distributor, Acronis Sales manager and Sales Engineers to ensure sales closure
WHAT YOU BRING
- Strong closing sales skills ( 3+ years sales experience)
- Fluent English and German (business negotiations level needed in German)
- Experience in a cyber security/ software company demonstrating a strong understanding of industry practices
- Strong time management skills are required
- Ability to articulate product’s different features, and to answer any questions customers might have
- Punctual, Teamplayer, reliable, and strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, upbeat, organized and highly persistent in follow-ups
- Flexible, open to changes in responsibilities and strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge on Salesforce is preferred
