The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion of QuidelOrtho's Blood Bank and Clinical Chemistry/Immunodiagnostics solutions in South Korea, with a primary focus on Vision Swift and VITROS systems. This role requires independent, proactive management of the full sales process, including new account development, retention of existing customers, and strategic customer engagement.
The Account Manager works closely with internal teams, including Field Engineers (FE), Laboratory Specialists (LS), Marketing, Supply Chain (SC), Customer Service Representatives (CSR), Finance, and QA&RA, to deliver optimal solutions and ensure high customer satisfaction.
The Account Manager holds end-to-end responsibility for achieving individual sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and driving business success in the assigned territory.
Major Responsibilities:
Drive sales growth and achieve individual sales targets for Blood Bank (Vision Swift) and CC/ID (VITROS) solutions in the assigned territory.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and strategic account planning.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (FE, LS, Marketing, etc.) to provide comprehensive support and resolve customer issues effectively.
Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and solution proposal to contract negotiation and post-sales support.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and performance indicators (e.g., FPY) to optimize sales strategies.
Utilize CRM systems (SFDC) and other tools to maintain accurate sales records and provide regular performance reports.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the manager.
