Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary commercial lead for assigned OEM accounts, managing all aspects of the customer relationship and acting as the voice of the customer within the organization.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies that increase revenue, expand market share, and strengthen long-term customer partnerships.
  • Lead pricing negotiations, commercial discussions, RFQs, and contract-related activities to maximize profitability while delivering customer value.
  • Build strong relationships with purchasing, engineering, program management, quality, and operations teams at customer organizations and within Freudenberg-NOK.
  • Manage complex customer systems, portals, reporting requirements, and business processes to ensure responsiveness and operational excellence.
  • Drive issue resolution by partnering with cross-functional teams to address commercial, quality, supply chain, and service-related challenges.
  • Create and maintain strategic multi-year account plans that identify growth opportunities, business risks, competitive threats, and actionable plans for success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Account Management, Business Development, Sales, or Commercial experience supporting OEM automotive customers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex customer accounts, programs, pricing activities, and commercial negotiations with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of OEM customer systems, portals, processes, and the demands of serving large automotive organizations.
  • Proven ability to build credibility and influence with customers, executives, engineers, and cross-functional business partners.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship-management skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Automotive sealing, polymer, manufacturing, supplier, Tier 1, or electric vehicle industry experience is strongly preferred.
