As an Account Manager II, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and long-term customer success by managing and expanding relationships across an assigned portfolio of clients, customers, and partners. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building trust, identifying opportunities, and delivering value through consultative selling.

You will work closely with internal teams—including sales leadership, marketing, and DLT’s Office of the CTO (OCTO)—to align solutions with customer needs and execute strategic business plans. What You’ll Do
  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with assigned clients, customers, and partners to drive retention and growth
  • Educate customers on DLT core value services, solutions, and partner offerings
  • Conduct research to identify new sales opportunities and expansion potential within existing accounts
  • Proactively prospect, contact, and qualify potential customers through outbound and inbound sales activities
  • Execute sales plays and lead generation campaigns aligned with annual business and account plans
  • Leverage DLT’s OCTO team of market executives and technologists to support complex solutions and customer growth objectives
  • Participate in sales and marketing initiatives, events, and campaigns to promote client and partner solutions
  • Manage, document, and forecast a pipeline of opportunities using company CRM tools to support sales goal attainment
  • Develop accurate quotes, manage agreements, and support credit terms as needed
  • Conduct customer success and issue-resolution activities to ensure a positive client experience
  • Track and report sales activity, metrics, and progress toward revenue goals
  • Collaborate internally and externally to execute joint business plans with clients and partners

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work or military experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales, account management, customer service, or general business roles
  • 1–2 years of experience supporting or working with public sector procurement processes
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales activity and financial targets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and CRM systems
