What You'll Do:
We're seeking a relentless, results-driven Account Executive to accelerate adoption of our risk management software across the SLED (State, Local, and Education) sector. You'll be the face of SambaSafety for government agency prospects- qualifying opportunities, driving pipeline growth, and closing deals that fuel our mission and momentum. This is a high-impact role with direct influence on company success..
  • Initiating telephone and email contact with potential prospects.
  • Utilize sales enablement tools to maintain account records.
  • Prepare and deliver regular forecasts on your sales activities, pipeline, and expected deal closures.
  • Participate in sales and product trainings to develop necessary knowledge.
  • Achieve your key performance indicators on a daily basis to achieve your yearly quota.
  • Consistently meet lead turnaround and follow up requirements.
  • Successfully meet and/or exceed sales quota and qualify leads with the goal of determining if the prospect fits the buying criteria and drive pipeline growth.
  • Self-generate your own consistent pipeline of qualified deals.
  • Manage, track, and report ALL activities in Salesforce.
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of SambaSafety's products, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.

What you'll need:
  • 5+ years of proven success selling into SLED agencies, with a strong understanding of government procurement cycles and decision-making dynamics.
  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS or software sales, ideally in compliance, risk, or workforce-related solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed quota and close complex deals with public sector clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a consultative and empathetic approach to selling.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, ZoomInfo).
  • A growth mindset - hungry to learn, adapt, and contribute to a winning team.
