This Inside Sales/Business Development Sales position is responsible for the direct sale of Equifax Workforce Solutions products and services to middle market companies (500-5000 employees).
What you will do
- Identifies and develops new business opportunities and will call on key decision makers of prospective clients.
- Primarily an inside sales position with potential travel for larger opportunities.
- Develops sales strategies to maximize revenue potential.
- Makes follow-up calls and conducts research to qualify sales leads.
- Effectively manage assigned territory and maximizes business potential.
- Builds and maintains prospective customer relationships.
- Enters prospect data and other sales data into database.
- Works with internal marketing representatives to keep literature up to date.
- Involved in networking at regional trade shows or user meetings
What experience you need
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in business, marketing or a related field OR equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years successful service-based solution selling experience in a business-to-business environment dealing with senior management
- Ability to travel 5-10% regionally
What could set you apart
- Proficient with Windows based and Microsoft applications, as well as Google Suite application
- Knowledge of Salesforce, ACT! or similar prospect management database
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $58,000 to $79,000. This position is also eligible for our incentive compensation program.
