About the Team

The SME & Growth Business team at Airwallex is a passionate group of collaborators and business champions dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in the global economy. We combine deep financial expertise with a growth mindset, working closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that streamline cross-border payments and unlock new revenue streams. What You’ll Do

As an Account Executive, Inbound - You will own the end-to-end sales funnel for clients sourced via the Marketing and/or Partnerships channel. Your responsibilities start from the prospects being assigned to you, to qualifying, pitching, onboarding, and then ramping up to their qualified volumes. We are looking for a salesperson who can manage the high lead volumes coming in on a day to day basis, while at the same time, managing a qualified pipeline where the objective is to prioritise and bring in revenue in the shortest possible time.

Note that internal title will be: Inbound Sales Representative, SME & Growth

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire journey from lead response to closed won. You are responsible for ensuring clients go through the sign up flow, actively transact, and ramp up their qualified volumes before it is passed to our account management team.

  • Deep Qualification: Fully understand Airwallex’s product suite and ideal customer profiles, such that you can value-sell relevant value propositions to incoming prospects that would solve their pain points.

  • Velocity: Strong daily discipline in clearing incoming leads, along with rigorous follow-up cadencing. Workflows should be optimised through structured processes that maximise output and quality.

  • Operational Discipline: Maintain accurate and updated data hygiene in Salesforce, which is used as our source of truth in sales activities. You will be expected to prioritise leads based on forecasting and pipeline management using Salesforce.

  • Cross-functional Collab: Aside from working with our account managers & operational teams that support our client’s experiences, you will be expected to work very closely with ou r Marketing or Partnership stakeholders to provide a thorough feedback loop that improves our top of funnel quality, which will in turn improve business goals.

  • Outcome Driven: You aren’t satisfied with short, quick wins. You are driven by seeing your deals fully ramped and successfully utilising the platform.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Drive & Hustle: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs in a fast-paced environment.

  • Communication: Strong written & verbal communication, with the ability to synthesise complicated information into simple, understandable content for prospective customers

  • Sales Experience: Minimally 2 years in sales, with past closing experience preferred. We are however open to consider candidates that have what it takes to succeed through IQ, hunger and coachability.

  • Sales Tooling: Experience with Salesforce and Outreach is highly preferred.

  • Language: English and Chinese required
