Establishing the Bristol branch and Authorized Payment entities will enable Computershare to deliver core  trustee and agency services in the UK.  

A role you will love 

As Account Associate you will work directly with relationship & account managers in administering the day-to-day business tasks for the most complex and non-routine portfolio of accounts. This role independently handles the ongoing tasks and projects of the accounts and assists in proactively handling and resolving customer requests. 

This role collaborates with a multitude of internal and external partners to administer deals in accordance with governing documents and implement risk-compliant solutions within agreed timeframes and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer day-to-day business tasks for the most complex and non-routine portfolio of accounts, while maintaining high-quality work under pressure with precision and reduced error rates.

  • Assist relationship/account managers in proactively handling and resolving customer requests and problems to meet critical deadlines.

  • Demonstrate ability to independently resolve operational exceptions in accordance with departmental procedures, as well as communicate and escalate issues appropriately.

  • Review, interpret, and comprehend complex legal documents for accuracy and ensure accounts are managed according to policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Provide guidance and training to more junior associates, as well as assist with onboarding new hires.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.

 

What will you bring to the role?

As you’ve probably gathered by now, we are looking for somebody with a strong background in building customer relationships, who can meet critical deadlines on moderately complex accounts. You will possess the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve client and internal business support success.

Other key skills required for the role include:  

  • Experience in Corporate Trust, custody, legal, corporate finance or other applicable financial services industry experience. 

  • Previous work experience in servicing customer relationships and strong customer orientation.

  • Ability to interpret and comprehend complex legal documents.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

  • Strong organisational skills, ability to meet critical deadlines and work well under pressure. 

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.

  • Ability to communicate and escalate issues. 

  • Exercises independent judgment to identify and resolve problems and escalate as appropriate. 

  • Ability to mentor more junior associates.
