Strategic Risk Solutions (Cayman) Limited (SRS), a leading independent insurance management and consulting firm, seeks an Account Administrator to support our account management team. This role is suited to someone who is interested in building a career in captive insurance and gaining hands-on exposure to client service, insurance administration, and the operational support required to progress toward an Account Manager role.
SRS provides consulting, accounting and management services to insurance companies in the US, Barbados, Bermuda, Cayman Islands and Europe with a staff of over 400 employees and expects to continue to grow and expand domestically and abroad.
Position Description and Requirements
The position requires a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist the account management team while developing the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to progress toward an Account Manager role.
- Assisting Account Managers and Senior Account Managers with day-to-day client service activities.
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and maintaining compliance-related records and documentation.
- Supporting the preparation of client reports, board materials and insurance documentation.
- Assisting with maintenance of client records and corporate documentation.
- Providing administrative support for both client-related and office operations, including courier coordination, bank deposits, document management and other day-to-day administrative activities.
- Attending on-island client meetings, when possible, to gain exposure to client interactions, captive insurance operations and account management responsibilities.
- Demonstrated interest in building a career in captive insurance, insurance management or financial services.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in business, finance, accounting, insurance or a related field.
- 2 years' experience in administration - within the financial sector preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint), Adobe and other business technology tools.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
