Due to exciting growth under the Arizona Bold Forward initiative, Mayo Clinic Arizona is seeking board-certified Internal Medicine physicians with experience managing complex patients. Exceptional new graduates will also be considered. Our hospital is a leading transplant center for heart, lung, liver, kidney, pancreas, and stem cell.
Practice Highlights
- Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary model not based on RVU production; comprehensive benefits including health, dental, disability, and CME allowance.
- Schedule: Approximately 160 shifts/year for day physicians; approximately 130 for nocturnists. Shifts are 12-hours long, day shifts are scheduled in 5-day blocks, nights are variable by preference. We utilize a cloud-based automated scheduling software program that syncs with calendar apps.
- Team Structure: Collaborative care with Advanced Practice Providers; average patient load approximately 15 per day.
- Practice Model: 12-hour shifts, team-based care, with all specialties available, and a closed ICU model.
- Teaching & Leadership: Opportunities to teach residents and medical students; members of the group hold various leadership roles across the organization
- Environment: Med/Surg, Med/Surg Tele, and Progressive Care Unit management; procedures not required but ultrasound experience is a plus.
