Research Experts is seeking a motivated, focused Academic Counsellor to guide students, research scholars, and professionals in selecting appropriate research and academic support services. The counsellor will act as the primary point of contact, understanding client needs and ensuring a smooth onboarding and support experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students, PhD scholars, and professionals regarding research services (thesis support, publication assistance, data analysis, editing, etc.)
- Understand the client's academic requirements and recommend suitable services.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and online inquiries.
- Follow up with prospective clients and convert inquiries into enrolments.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and client data in CRM systems.
- Coordinate with research, technical, editing and support teams to ensure timely service delivery.
- Provide clear explanations of processes, timelines, and pricing.
- Resolve client queries and concerns professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in academic counselling.
Requirements
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Qualification: Any graduate or above
Skills Required:- Excellent written & Verbal communication skills (English)
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Previous customer service experience, especially in a chat process, is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple chats effectively and efficiently
- Knowledge of basic computer applications and CRM tools
- Key Traits: Empathy, patience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
