We are currently searching for a passionate and motivated Automation Test Engineer - Junior to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. You will be working closely with development and testing teams to enhance our testing frameworks and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verification including Certification test execution
- Test Case Development, Test Script and Automation Development, deployment, and execution, i.e:
- Run automated testing,
- Report SW Defects and support the resolution process for all defects reported,
- Report and resolved test procedures defects impacting Automation execution,
- Complex features test execution,
- Support the troubleshooting of problems/blockers reported by other Testers,
- Report defects impacting testing cycles,
- Generate and improve documentation to increase the efficiency during automated test runs,
- Support basic scripting development initiatives to improve Automated execution plans,
- Support as required, Test KPIs generation to monitor test progress, blockers, and test runs completion
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 0-1 year of experience in software testing or automation (academic experience included)
- Experience using version control system (e.g., Git/GitHub)
- Experience developing Python apps / Python scripts
- Experience using Python with Data Structures ,OOPs concepts, Variables and data types, File handling concepts, Exception Handling, Generators, Iterators
- Familiarity with hardware and ability to collaborate with electronic engineers in debugging integrated systems.
- Understanding of embedded systems and their interaction with hardware.
- Good level of English
