Your role at a glance

The Specialist, DC Performance supports the Standards & Performance team by providing end-to-end ownership and operational control over DC Ops performance, findings and risks ensuring that outcomes from audits, assessments and operational reviews are consistently managed prioritized and closed globally. This role acts as the primary interface between Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Client Success Management, OIS, Central Functions and DC sites, translating audit and assessment outputs into actionable improvements and measurable performance outcomes.
The Specialist, DC Performance ensures that DC Ops risks are visible and mitigated, findings are addressed at source, and deviations from standards are formally tracked, approved and resolved to ensure operational maturity, audits readiness and client confidence.

What we are looking for

The Performance Specialist supports the Standards & Performance team by providing end-to-end ownership and operational control over DC Ops performance, findings and risks ensuring that outcomes from audits, assessments and operational reviews are consistently managed prioritized and closed globally. This role acts as the primary interface between Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Client Success Management, OIS, Central Functions and DC sites, translating audit and assessment outputs into actionable improvements and measurable performance outcomes. 

The Performance Specialist ensures that DC Ops risks are visible and mitigated, findings are addressed at source, and deviations from standards are formally tracked, approved and resolved to ensure operational maturity, audits readiness and client confidence. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Internal/external Audit support – Primary interface with GRC, Central Functions and DC sites 

  • Client Audit support - Primary interface with CSM, Central Functions and DC sites 

  • OIS assessments support - Primary interface with OIS, Central Functions and DC sites 

  • Working with GRC Risk management team, Central Functions and DC sites to manage and mitigate DC Operations risks 

  • Coordinate and manage OPA and the Standards Baseline Deviations tracker 

  • Findings platform interfaces - 6clicks/Mcube 

  • Findings management. Review, update and closure findings and risks. 01W data update on DCOPS findings tracker 

  • Community MS team DCOPS - Performance oversight 

  • Monthly reporting (KPIs/metrics) - DCOPSCO Scorecard Power BI 

 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

 

  • A strategic thinking individual with a structured and target-oriented approach, with a focus on operations and technical excellence. 

  • Outstanding relationship-builder and communicator, both internally and externally. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in multinational, interdisciplinary and culturally diverse teams. 

  • A passion for listening to stakeholders and customers and a world-class service mentality. 

   Education & Experience 

  • Experience and understanding of internal and external audits and risk management processes.  

  • Working Knowledge of Plan Do Check Act (Deming cycle) and Lean Principles highly desirable. 

  • Strong background in data analysis, KPI tracking, and performance reporting, with experience producing regular management reports and scorecards. 

  • Experience working in matrixed, multinational organizations, collaborating across regions and cultures. 

  • Exposure to regulated or audit‑driven environments (internal, external, or client audits) is highly desirable. 

  • Experience in critical infrastructure, data center operations, or similar operationally intensive environments is an advantage. 

  • Willing and able to travel. 

  • Proficient in English language both written and verbal.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Quality, Commissioning, or a related field
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
  • Moderate demonstrated experience managing data center projects
  • Moderate demonstrated experience working in a data center environment managing projects or operations of a Tier 3 data center
  • Moderate data center commissioning experience
  • Moderate demonstrated data center construction project management experience
  • Developing knowledge of ASHRAE Guideline 0 and commissioning processes
  • Developing technical knowledge of MEP systems
  • Developing knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25, fire-life-safety requirements, and building codes
  • Developing knowledge of industrial safety practices, including lockout/tagout, arc-flash protection, OSHA, and state regulations
  • Developing proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to coordinate, supervise, and communicate with contractors
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, analytical, and process-management skills
