About the Role
We are looking for a 3D Printing & Removables Team Lead for night shift who will be responsible for managing technicians, operating and maintaining equipment and to ensure that orders are fabricated at the highest quality standards per customer deadlines. What You'll Do

  • Operate Quickly: Directly operate and maintain multiple 3D printing machines, from printing to washing and curing, to fabricate 3D printed dental products (e.g., models, night guards, dentures) in a fast-paced environment

  • Drive Improvements: Serve as the go-to individual with firsthand insights on workflow, equipment, and capacity improvement opportunities to help drive high quality products

  • Problem Solve: Roll up your sleeves to quickly troubleshoot and solve process, equipment and/or technology issues as you operate within a large scale and fast paced dental lab

  • Quality Adherence: Uphold strict manufacturing quality standards (e.g., equipment maintenance and repair) and lead by example. High quality is key to efficient scalability!

  • Collaborate: Work with other team members to identify and quickly address bottlenecks

  • Management: Supervise 3D Printing & Removables Technicians working on the swing shift ensuring that all the orders are processed (nested, post-processed & finished) as they arrive from Day shift and be ready for any orders that needs to be passed on to the Night/Graveyard Shift.

  • Data Collection: Prepare reports & collect data for day-to-day tasks that may be used to monitor and measure success.

  • Training: Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and a mentor to train new & existing team members.

  • Cross Training: May be required to cross-train on multiple departments as needed

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ year experience in being a team lead or supervisor in a high paced manufacturing environment

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  •  Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment with tight deadlines

  • Worked with 3D Printers preferably Carbon Printers: M2, M3.

  • Experience with Resin printing, Isopropyl Alcohol, Acetone and post-processing methods.

  • Experience on Nightguards, Dentures and other removables printing & finishing.

  • Passion for tackling problems and breaking them down into smaller manageable steps

  • High level of comfort with digital tools and technology

  • Very high attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Team player attitude and willingness to help others to help the team exceed expectations

  • Strong ability to maintain a clean work area and keep equipment, tools, and supplies clean to avoid contamination with foreign material

  • Strong self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to prioritize

  • Natural curiosity and ability to learn new concepts, tools, and workflows quickly

  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
