What you’ll do as a MISO Intern:

  • Support a group of virtual customers by helping answer questions, strengthen relationships, and improve their experience with MISO.
  • Work with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) across the company to understand customer needs, assist with problem‑solving, and keep inquiries moving toward resolution.
  • Help the team make better use of data by reviewing metrics, asking thoughtful questions, and identifying opportunities to simplify or improve everyday processes.
  • Attend community service events, intern socials, networking activities, and development programming to help you grow your confidence, build relationships, and understand MISO’s broader mission.
  • Wrap up the summer with a final presentation summarizing your project work, recommendations, and areas of impact.

We are looking for students who…

  • Are pursuing Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, English, or related fields (undergraduate or graduate).
  • Enjoy building relationships, communicating clearly, and helping customers solve problems.
  • Are curious learners who ask great questions and enjoy finding better ways to work.
  • Bring experience or interest in communication, data analysis, customer service, teamwork, or process improvement.
  • Are comfortable using or learning tools like Dynamics, Power BI, Excel, and other business systems.

To be eligible for the program, you must be available to start Wednesday, June 2nd, 2027 and continue through Friday, August 13th, 2027.  No VISA sponsorship opportunities, including OPT/CPT.
