INTERNSHIP FORMAT
This internship will follow an in-person model. Interns will be based at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria. The internship program is scheduled to run from May through August 2027.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS
As a User Experience Design Intern at Stellantis, you should understand trends, consumer research and brand identity. The intern will create effective and engaging experiences and design solutions, as well as communicate and sell their design solutions to senior management and colleagues. The selected candidate will assist with design projects and creative initiatives and provide interactive user interface expertise and support from concept to production projects. This role will create graphical assets using standard 2D and 3D designer tools, as well as research and utilize emerging technologies. The intern will interface with Design Office management and employees and will participate in a variety of relevant activities and assignments. The intern will also gain practical experience working with engineers and developers, while collaborating on diverse programs and projects. Mentorship is provided by on-site designers who will oversee the intern's daily activities.

Preferred QualificationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in User Experience, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Product Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Game Design, Film, or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship
- Willingness to relocate for internship
- Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited college or university by Spring 2027
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Candidates must submit a current portfolio (specifically highlighting automotive design if applicable)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of sophomore year or higher at an accredited university by the Summer of 2027
- Exceptional design intuition, with strong presentation and design communication skills
- Working knowledge of Alias, Microsoft Office, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint and/or similar programs
- Ability to work both individually and as a team member in a creative and diverse environment
- Strong interest in the automotive industry and new technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must exhibit strong leadership characteristics
