About the Role
Donegal Insurance Group is always looking for talented interns to join our team during the summer break, from mid-May through the end of August.
Our internship(s) are full-time, paid positions designed to help students apply what they have learned in the classroom to the insurance industry along with exploring possible career paths within our organization.
Potential internship opportunities (but not limited) could be in one of the following departments:
- Underwriting
- Enterprise Analytics
- Claims
- Information Technology
- Human Resources
- Marketing
- Loss Control
- Internal Audit
During the internship, our summer intern(s) will work on projects developed by the supervisor/mentor in addition to completing department specific tasks. Whichever department the internship may be in though, our interns will gain valuable, career-specific work experience applicable to their desired area of study.
Current college students interested in working in a fast-paced, team environment while also being exposed to various areas of the property and casualty insurance industry are strongly encouraged to apply.
Intern Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- 3.0 overall GPA or higher
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Starting Pay: The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00 per hour. The specific offer will vary based on an applicant's education, qualifications, experience, skills, abilities, and any applicable designations/certifications. The posted pay range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
