Investigates suspected insurance fraud and supports claims resolution through database inquiries, open-source social media research, interviews, recorded statements, pre-surveillance assessments, and detailed reporting. Maintains relationships with attorneys, employees, criminal justice agencies, and vendors; supports anti-fraud initiatives and trains claims personnel in fraud detection. Requires independent work, strong communication and organizational skills, and travel as needed. The role is initially office-based in Marietta, Pennsylvania, transitioning to hybrid after training.

Leads the Special Investigations Unit, manages SIU investigators, oversees complex and potentially fraudulent claim investigations, reviews findings, advises Claims personnel on resolutions and referrals, partners on complex claims, and delivers fraud-awareness and investigation training.

Provides commercial insurance loss-control and risk-management services through vendor report reviews, account assessments, field surveys, and recommendations to reduce risks. Collects objective information for underwriting, ensures reports meet applicable codes and guidelines, administers safety training, presents findings, supports quality reviews, and consults with underwriters. The role is primarily desk-based initially, with as-needed field visits across the Atlantic South region.
