Own enterprise accounts in the Central and LTAM regions, generate new-logo business, meet sales quotas, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through pricing, negotiation, and closing. The Technical Support Engineer will provide exceptional customer support for YugabyteDB, diagnose issues, document findings, and collaborate with engineering. The role requires bilingual skills, technical background, familiarity with Linux, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, especially during weekends.

Triage and own enterprise support tickets for YugabyteDB, investigate incidents using logs and queries, reproduce issues, escalate with evidence, write thorough notes and handovers, contribute to knowledge base, and communicate calmly with customers during incidents.

Design, build, and scale core database features in YugabyteDB, collaborating on distributed query planning, execution, and performance.

The Staff Engineer will design and scale distributed storage and transaction foundations, leading development and troubleshooting for YugabyteDB's core features, while mentoring team members.

Lead design and implementation of automation and chaos-testing frameworks for distributed database reliability. Build scalable CI tests, simulate failure modes, uncover data corruption/consistency bugs, collaborate with engineering, and mentor junior engineers to ensure production-quality YugabyteDB features.
