The Technical Support Engineer will provide exceptional customer support for YugabyteDB, diagnose issues, document findings, and collaborate with engineering. The role requires bilingual skills, technical background, familiarity with Linux, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, especially during weekends.

Leads design, development, testing, and delivery of YugabyteDB’s distributed storage, replication, and transaction foundations. Develops C/C++ systems software, resolves correctness and performance issues, improves scalability and throughput, and builds database operations such as backups, schema changes, upgrades, and cluster scale-out. Contributes to open source, participates in design and code reviews, and mentors engineers in distributed systems and performance engineering.

Own the quote-to-booking process across direct, channel, reseller, and cloud marketplace transactions. Review orders, enforce deal compliance, manage private offers, reconcile bookings and partner payouts, support financial close, maintain controls and reporting, and resolve booking issues across Sales, Partnerships, Billing, Accounting, and Legal. Lead AI-enabled automation to improve order accuracy, reconciliation, and cycle time.

Owns month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, multi-currency accounting, consolidation, and financial statement support. Manages cash positioning, bank activity, payment runs, intercompany funding, and investment reconciliations. Supports audits, tax provision work, compliance, internal controls, SOX readiness, and process automation across global entities.

Lead FP&A activities for a growing SaaS company, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, financial modeling, headcount planning, performance reporting, investment and ROI analysis, and executive and board reporting. Partner with cross-functional leaders to optimize resource allocation, improve financial systems and data integrity, and translate business plans into actionable financial insights.

Own enterprise accounts in the Midwest, generate new-logo opportunities, meet sales quotas, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through pricing, negotiation, and closing. The role includes coordinating product demonstrations with Sales Engineering and partnering with Marketing to generate demand. Candidates should have enterprise infrastructure software sales experience, full-cycle technology sales expertise, and a track record of closing large enterprise deals.

Design, build, test, and scale core distributed storage, replication, and transaction systems for YugabyteDB. Write and review C/C++ code with automated tests, improve performance and scalability, streamline operational workflows, troubleshoot correctness/stability, contribute to open-source project, and mentor other engineers.

Act as the Meko subject-matter expert to drive adoption and monetization across enterprise accounts. Partner with Account Executives and deployment engineers to identify agent use cases, progress technical and commercial sales cycles, demonstrate business impact, and shape GTM, messaging, and product roadmap through cross-functional collaboration.

The Security Engineer will enhance security operations capabilities, manage vulnerabilities, oversee security tooling, and develop automation for security workflows.

The Technical Support Engineer will assist customers with issues related to YugabyteDB, troubleshoot technical problems, and collaborate with other teams to meet customer needs.
