The Associate Wellness Director oversees wellness program development and implementation, supervises wellness staff, ensures training and program coverage, and delivers excellent member service. The role is approximately 80% frontline work with members and participants and 20% administrative coordination. Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating staff, program planning, budgeting, conflict resolution, public relations, record-keeping, and facility care. The position also requires continued professional education in exercise science, wellness, supervision, and member service.

Greet and welcome members, visitors, and guests; provide friendly member service at the front desk. Maintain required certifications (First Aid, Oxygen Administration; CPR/AED for open/close staff) and complete mandatory YMCA trainings within 60–90 days. Ensure minors are supervised and follow safety and reporting procedures.

Provides a safe, welcoming environment for YMCA members using strength and cardiovascular equipment. Conducts wellness onboarding and retention appointments, supports members’ wellness goals, tracks outcomes, connects members with appropriate programs, follows up, and ensures equipment is used properly. Maintains member confidentiality, records, schedules, certifications, and continuing education requirements.

Supervises the development and delivery of YMCA wellness programs, spending most time supporting staff, members, and participants on the frontline. Oversees wellness staff training, scheduling, coverage, performance, and member service. Coordinates administration, program planning, budgets, conflict resolution, public relations, recordkeeping, and facility care. Requires leadership, personnel management, exercise science knowledge, and commitment to YMCA values.

Manages and leads before- and after-school programming, supervises staff, supports student behavior management, communicates with families, maintains program records, and creates inclusive lesson plans. The Site Director fosters participants’ social, physical, spiritual, and mental development while promoting YMCA values. The role requires organization, energy, positive relationship-building, and at least two years of experience working directly with children.

The role involves supervising and engaging with children aged 6-12 in Before and After School programs, fostering their growth and development.

The Youth Workers will assist in implementing after school programs, supervising children, and promoting their social and physical growth. They will also interact with parents and collaborate with staff.

Supervise the designated teen program area, support hiring and management of employees and volunteers, coordinate scheduling and training, maintain program documentation and statistical reports, and improve participant quality, engagement, and retention. The role requires strong communication, organization, confidentiality, personnel management, and knowledge of YMCA programs. Current CPR, First Aid, safety, risk management, and child abuse prevention certifications are required or must be obtained within 60–90 days.

Lead and manage before- and after-school programs, build and supervise staff teams, support student behavior management, maintain family communication, and create inclusive lesson plans to promote social, physical, mental, and spiritual development.

Supervise and engage school-age children in before- and after-school programs under a Site Director. Lead activities (games, crafts, sports), build positive relationships with youth and parents, and demonstrate YMCA core values while promoting social, physical, and mental growth.

The Wellness Advisor I ensures member safety in exercise areas, provides retention appointments, tracks member activity, and supports wellness goals.

Supervise groups of 6–12 children in before- and after-school programs, lead activities (games, crafts, sports), foster social and developmental growth, and build positive relationships with youth, parents, school staff, and colleagues under a Site Director's guidance.
