Evaluate border security and mission technologies, plan and execute technical demonstrations and field tests, translate operational needs into technical requirements, and develop engineering, acquisition, test, and program documentation. The role supports DHS CBP stakeholders by assessing emerging systems, analyzing performance data, preparing technical reports and decision briefings, and coordinating technical issues across engineering and operational teams.

Leads data science and analytics strategy for DHS CBP mission programs. Designs Dataverse data models, pipelines, validation controls, statistical and machine-learning models, and reporting solutions. Performs hands-on Python and SQL analysis, assesses data quality and governance, communicates findings and limitations, establishes reproducible analytical standards, and mentors technical teams. The role also coordinates integrations, responsible AI practices, peer reviews, and operational deployment of analytics.
