Lead accounting, financial reporting, monthly close, cash management, internal controls, compliance, inventory and cost accounting, trade spend, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder reporting. Manage the accounting team, external audits, tax coordination, working capital, and manufacturing plant finance partnerships. The role reports to the CEO, supports Board and investor reporting, and requires on-site work in Chicago with periodic travel to a manufacturing facility in North Carolina.

Manage general ledger and month-end/year-end close, prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, oversee AP and AR (billing, collections), conduct inventory counts, support audits and tax compliance, assist budgeting/forecasting, and improve accounting processes and controls while collaborating with operations, supply chain, and sales.
