Senior Accountant responsible for month-end and year-end close, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, billing, collections, inventory accounting, financial reporting, budgeting support, audit and tax compliance, and improving accounting controls. The role collaborates with operations, supply chain, sales, and other teams in an onsite Chicago office environment.

Lead first-shift food manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, staffing, line performance, quality, food safety, labor utilization, and cost control. Supervise and develop production supervisors, leads, and hourly employees. Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and HR to ensure safe, efficient production. Drive continuous improvement through downtime reduction, waste reduction, throughput improvements, root-cause analysis, standard work, and equipment reliability initiatives.

Maintains financial records, manages accounts payable and receivable, processes invoices and expenses, reconciles accounts, supports month-end close, tracks inventory, and assists with restaurant accounting and reporting. The role is onsite five days weekly in Chicago and may support offsite company events.
