Leads accounting, monthly close, financial reporting, cash management, internal controls, audits, tax coordination, inventory and cost accounting, trade spend, working capital, budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting. Partners with operations and commercial teams across CPG and food manufacturing channels, manages the accounting team, improves processes, and oversees retailer deductions, rebates, chargebacks, and gross-to-net revenue accounting. Requires on-site work in Chicago and periodic travel to a manufacturing facility.

Senior Accountant responsible for month-end and year-end close, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, billing, collections, inventory accounting, financial reporting, budgeting support, audit and tax compliance, and improving accounting controls. The role collaborates with operations, supply chain, sales, and other teams in an onsite Chicago office environment.

Lead first-shift food manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, staffing, line performance, quality, food safety, labor utilization, and cost control. Supervise and develop production supervisors, leads, and hourly employees. Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and HR to ensure safe, efficient production. Drive continuous improvement through downtime reduction, waste reduction, throughput improvements, root-cause analysis, standard work, and equipment reliability initiatives.
