The role requires graph databases, cloud-native AWS services, modern data stack technologies, DevOps, and data-as-a-service experience.

Own the design, development, operation, and refactoring of third-party integrations, public APIs, SDKs, and event-driven services. Build resilient systems using Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, and Kubernetes; manage API versioning, partner reliability, performance, monitoring, and production incidents. Mentor engineers, lead technical designs, and collaborate across engineering, product, partnerships, and customer-facing teams.

Build reusable Node.js, TypeScript, Nest.js, and React.js patterns; optimize PostgreSQL and Kafka systems; manage Kubernetes and ArgoCD deployments; modernize legacy code; improve CI/CD and observability; and mentor engineers. Translate ambiguous technical challenges into roadmaps, lead cross-team architecture work, and strengthen engineering practices through coaching, documentation, and workshops.
