Troubleshoot and optimize machining processes, including feeds and speeds, tooling, work holding, machine methods, quality systems, and throughput. Quote machining work, evaluate equipment, develop processes for new projects, and collaborate with machinists, engineers, suppliers, and leadership. The role requires hands-on production-floor problem solving, supplier capability development, and use of technical data to create reliable manufacturing processes for castings.

Develop and launch aluminum casting processes from concept through production. Investigate scrap, defects, and customer complaints; use MAGMASOFT simulation, DOE, metallurgy, gating analysis, and process parameters to improve casting performance. Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and leadership, design and troubleshoot testing and machining fixtures, and work extensively on the production floor to deliver robust, repeatable processes.
