Schedules and manages patient appointments, verifies insurance and demographic information, answers patient inquiries, provides appointment instructions and reminders, coordinates provider schedule changes, collects virtual-visit copays, and maintains accurate, secure patient records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational privacy procedures.

Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations, verifies patient information and physician orders, prepares and explains procedures, captures and submits diagnostic images, documents findings, and maintains equipment and procedure areas. Ensures patient safety, consults with referring physicians, correlates clinical history with exams, and maintains supplies and records. Requires ARDMS and CPR certification, ultrasound equipment proficiency, computer skills, and strong communication. One year of radiologic technology or imaging experience is preferred.

Analyzes healthcare, provider, clinical, member, claims, and population health data to identify cost-reduction, quality-improvement, patient-satisfaction, and risk-capture opportunities. Develops reports, documentation, drill-down analyses, and strategic recommendations; presents findings to internal and external stakeholders; and collaborates with clinical and operational leaders on population health initiatives. Requires proficiency in Excel, SQL, and SAS.

Own actuarial and financial analysis for healthcare value-based care arrangements, including ACOs, Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial risk contracts. Develop models for claims, utilization, cost trends, risk adjustment, benchmarks, shared savings and losses, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Evaluate provider and contract performance, identify cost opportunities, support reconciliation, and communicate findings to executive and cross-functional stakeholders. Maintain actuarial methodologies consistent with ASOPs and professional standards.

Provides outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine care, including follow-up visits, new patient evaluations, and sleep medicine consultations. Sees approximately 20 patients daily in a collaborative, physician-supported practice. The role follows a Monday-Friday schedule with no office call and possible hospital rounding participation. Responsibilities include patient-centered communication, diagnosis and management of pulmonary and sleep conditions, and coordination with specialists.

Provides inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care, including patient assessments, diagnostic interpretation, treatment planning, follow-up, education, and care coordination. Manages acute and chronic cardiac conditions in collaboration with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams. Provides first-call general cardiology support for the electrophysiology cardiologist, including after-hours and weekend coverage.

Provides inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care, including patient assessments, diagnostic test interpretation, treatment planning, management of acute and chronic cardiac conditions, patient education, follow-up, and care coordination with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams. The role follows a Monday-Friday outpatient schedule with a 1:5 inpatient/call rotation and includes full-time benefits.

Provides direct nursing care in an outpatient infusion setting, including patient assessment, telephone triage, care planning, documentation, medication and supply ordering, infusion monitoring, IV therapy, therapeutic phlebotomy, lab draws, and implanted port access. Educates patients and staff, develops clinical materials and protocols, coordinates appointments, evaluates treatment reactions, and oversees LPNs and CMA/RMAs. Requires a North Carolina or Compact RN license, nursing degree, BLS, and ACLS certification.

Processes and follows up on medical insurance claims, denials, appeals, corrected claims, coverage terminations, and outstanding balances. Verifies patient benefits, updates insurance information, communicates with carriers and patients, processes refunds, establishes payment plans, and resolves insurance-related issues for providers and office staff. The role also supports regulatory communication and coordination with occupational health and corporate wellness programs.

Provides perioperative nursing care in an ambulatory surgery center, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient assessment and management. Coordinates care, assists physicians during procedures, performs IV insertion, administers medications, monitors cardiac rhythms, manages pain, labels specimens, documents care, and supports patient transport and recovery. Requires an active North Carolina RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Performs patient specimen collection, point-of-care and hematology testing, specimen preparation, laboratory documentation, quality control, equipment and environmental monitoring, and critical-result communication. Maintains supplies, handles biohazard materials, sends specimens to reference laboratories, manages laboratory information through Orchard LIS and EMR/EPM systems, and supports compliance with testing and cleaning procedures.

Performs outpatient ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, vascular, obstetric, gynecological, and small-parts scans. Communicates critical findings, maintains patient records, supports quality assurance, operates and maintains imaging equipment, manages supplies, educates patients, and helps maintain radiation safety and department efficiency. May travel to other Wilmington Health locations.

Provides coding and billing guidance to medical and clinic staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and consistency. Develops policies, conducts quality-control and special-project audits, performs monthly E/M profiling, updates fee schedules and charge tickets, reviews coding bulletins, resolves coding issues, and trains providers and staff.

Provide direct patient care through evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, medication prescribing, and interpretation of diagnostic tests. Physicians collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care, maintain accurate medical records, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
