Designs, develops, tests, debugs, documents, and supports software throughout the application lifecycle. The role contributes to system design, code reviews, performance monitoring, DevOps practices, automation, cloud-native development, and technical debt reduction. Responsibilities and seniority vary across Levels 1–3, with senior engineers providing technical leadership, mentoring, architectural guidance, and AI-enabled development expertise.

Analyzes business processes, application systems, and stakeholder requirements to identify improvements and define effective technical solutions. Develops business cases, scope documents, process models, and validated requirements; facilitates collaboration among business, technology, and quality assurance teams. Monitors requirements activities, supports continuous improvement, uses AI tools for analysis and documentation, and mentors less experienced business analysts. The role requires technical business analysis expertise, systems development lifecycle knowledge, process improvement skills, and at least 2 years of experience for Level 2 or 5 years for Level 3.

Creates and manages video, audio, photography, motion graphics, animation, and visual effects for internal and external audiences. Directs productions, operates cameras and sound equipment, edits post-production content, develops concepts and storyboards, and collaborates with stakeholders to deliver on-brand multimedia projects. Maintains studio equipment, asset libraries, quality standards, and brand compliance while staying current with industry trends and technologies.

Performs automated and manual testing across UI, API, and integration layers. Develops Playwright-based test scripts, executes functional and regression testing, validates backend data with SQL, and contributes to test plans and CI/CD integration. Collaborates with Engineering and Product teams to identify defects, improve automation coverage, and track quality metrics. Participates in Agile ceremonies and applies QA standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging AI-assisted testing tools under senior guidance.

Develop and lead Wellabe’s enterprise AI strategy, roadmap, governance, and value measurement. Partner with business and technical teams to identify, prioritize, prototype, evaluate, and scale AI and Generative AI solutions. Build hands-on Python and cloud-based prototypes using Azure and Databricks, assess models and vendors, establish responsible AI practices, and guide initiatives from problem framing through adoption and measurable business impact.

Performs general accounting, journal entries, accounts payable, general ledger reconciliations, financial close activities, tax and statutory reporting, and variance analysis. Investigates discrepancies, supports regulatory filings, responds to internal and external inquiries, and maintains accurate financial records. The role requires accounting knowledge, analytical ability, advanced Excel skills, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with relevant experience accepted in lieu of education.

Supports the Brand and Communications team by creating visual assets for digital, print, video, and social media. Assists with graphic design, photography, videography, animation, storyboarding, editing, and multimedia concept development while maintaining brand standards. Uses creative workflows and project management tools to plan, review, and deliver marketing and communication materials during a 10-week onsite internship.

Provides senior security engineering expertise across architecture, cloud and identity security, vulnerability management, incident response, application security, data protection, monitoring, automation, and governance. Reviews technologies and designs, develops security standards and controls, investigates incidents, prioritizes exposures, oversees managed security providers, supports audits, and assesses emerging technology risks. Collaborates with technical and business stakeholders while mentoring security professionals and communicating complex risks clearly.

Develops and enhances complex software applications across the full software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, architecture, DevOps, automation, cloud-native development, system integration, documentation, and technical leadership. The role mentors engineers, leads code reviews and technical initiatives, and evaluates AI-assisted development, RAG, agentic workflows, and secure AI solutions. Collaboration with product, architecture, systems, and testing teams is required to improve reliability, reduce technical debt, and support business outcomes.

Design reusable, secure, and scalable AI and automation solution patterns, build reference implementations and proofs-of-value, provide technical advisory, embed responsible AI practices, create standards and reusable assets, and enable distributed teams from intake through production while partnering across architecture, data, security, and operations.

Lead design and delivery of an enterprise Azure Databricks Lakehouse platform, migrating from Azure SQL Server. Set data platform strategy, mentor data engineers, ensure cloud-native ETL/ELT, reliability, observability, and support analytics/AI/ML. Manage portfolio, budget, vendors, and stakeholder alignment to deliver a single source of truth for insurance domains.

Lead actuarial valuation and modernization efforts including reserve establishment, regulatory compliance, financial reporting support, audit and exam preparation, automation/AI improvements, and oversight of NAIC RBC and valuation processes. Manage a small actuarial team and collaborate with Accounting, Risk, Internal Audit, Modeling, and Legal on reinsurance, disclosures, and actuarial controls.
