Analyzes and resolves complex system issues by evaluating applications, integrations, data flows, databases, and business processes. Develops technical requirements, solution designs, mappings, specifications, and business rules; recommends scalable architectural or process improvements; facilitates stakeholder discussions; and supports testing and user acceptance. The role partners with technical teams, business users, and vendors to resolve incidents, reduce technical debt, improve operations, and align solutions with enterprise architecture and business objectives.

Develops and maintains software solutions by translating business requirements into technical designs and code. Responsibilities include end-to-end development, unit and integration testing, debugging, code reviews, source control, sprint planning, solution design, technical debt prioritization, QA issue resolution, and automation. Collaborates with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and developers while supporting continuous integration and delivery. May contribute to project planning and mentor newer developers.

Design reusable, secure, and scalable AI and automation solution patterns, build reference implementations and proofs-of-value, provide technical advisory, embed responsible AI practices, create standards and reusable assets, and enable distributed teams from intake through production while partnering across architecture, data, security, and operations.

Lead design and delivery of an enterprise Azure Databricks Lakehouse platform, migrating from Azure SQL Server. Set data platform strategy, mentor data engineers, ensure cloud-native ETL/ELT, reliability, observability, and support analytics/AI/ML. Manage portfolio, budget, vendors, and stakeholder alignment to deliver a single source of truth for insurance domains.

Lead actuarial valuation and modernization efforts including reserve establishment, regulatory compliance, financial reporting support, audit and exam preparation, automation/AI improvements, and oversight of NAIC RBC and valuation processes. Manage a small actuarial team and collaborate with Accounting, Risk, Internal Audit, Modeling, and Legal on reinsurance, disclosures, and actuarial controls.
