Teams at Waltonen Engineering

Design and detail tooling using NX/Unigraphics from concept through 3D modeling and 2D drawings. Perform engineering calculations, material selection, bills of materials, and collaborate with drafters to meet customer requirements and quality systems.

Place automated robotic systems in manufacturing facilities using CAD (including FactoryCAD), develop zone and system layouts to optimize processes, ensure proper robotic placement and safety, collaborate with processing, simulation, and design teams, and occasionally travel to customer sites to support implementations.

Support engineering projects to create product sequence sheets and time studies, design ergonomic operator stations, produce timing and weld documentation, coordinate design/regulatory groups, prepare specifications, execute quality initiatives, meet customer requirements, and drive continuous improvement for automotive BIW tooling.
