Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs for manufacturing production staff. Responsibilities include assessing training needs, managing onboarding and ongoing training, supervising a training specialist, facilitating hands-on instruction and certifications, maintaining records, ensuring regulatory compliance, updating SOPs, evaluating effectiveness, and coordinating coverage across shifts.

Provides electrical engineering support in a manufacturing environment, executing continuous improvement projects, troubleshooting recurring equipment issues, improving safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and waste reduction. Works with industrial automation, robots, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, electrical drives, motors, and complex processing lines. Supports production, programs and configures control systems, and collaborates with experienced engineers on increasingly complex projects.

Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Create standard operating procedures, support the transition from JDE to Microsoft Dynamics 365, coordinate process handoffs with the parent company, assist with external audits, and conduct ad hoc analysis. The role also supports cross-training and process improvement within the accounting team.

Leads manufacturing quality systems, process control, product testing, release, documentation, and continuous improvement. Uses statistical analysis, capability studies, control charts, root-cause analysis, and Six Sigma tools to address nonconforming products, customer complaints, and corrective actions. Ensures compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Facilitates cross-functional teams, training, audits, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives while supporting EHS and operational excellence.

Plans and maintains production schedules for make-to-order and make-to-stock items based on capacity, materials, customer priorities, downtime, and changeovers. Manages production work orders in an ERP system, coordinates with operations and purchasing, integrates R&D trials, resolves scheduling issues, communicates changes, and provides overdue production updates to leadership. Partners with master schedulers to execute the production plan.

Leads the company’s end-to-end growth strategy, including market expansion, portfolio planning, technology commercialization, go-to-market design, strategic partnerships, and customer engagement. Aligns Sales, Product, R&D, and Operations to execute growth initiatives, develop business cases, manage the opportunity pipeline, and establish governance and performance metrics. Reports directly to the CEO and CCO.

Perform production tasks on the tape manufacturing line: follow safety procedures, maintain clean work areas, perform set-ups and product changes, inspect and sort finished rolls, meet production and quality goals, complete logs, communicate with team, and perform forklift duties where applicable.
