Performs professional accounting activities, including general ledger posting, balancing and reconciliation; prepares financial statements, regulatory filings, work papers, and reports; analyzes financial fluctuations; supports audits, budgeting, expenditure coding, and statutory reporting; and recommends accounting system and procedure improvements.

Directs enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, performance analysis, and long-range planning. The role requires meeting revenue goals, maintaining broker relationships, and supporting healthcare-related products and services.

Manages and grows large client accounts, develops new business prospects, and drives membership and ancillary product sales. Builds relationships with clients, brokers, consultants, and industry partners; develops account strategies; educates stakeholders on healthcare, pricing, and benefit trends; coordinates with internal teams to meet service expectations; analyzes market data; and maintains sales records and reports. Requires frequent travel within the assigned territory and applicable agent licensing.

Conducts research and analysis to support enterprise strategy, transformational initiatives, business planning, and operational planning. Develops insights on vision care, healthcare, insurance, retail, technology, and adjacent markets. Coordinates Board and committee materials, partners with business leaders on strategic initiatives, and develops metrics to track progress toward enterprise goals. Supports the CEO and Executive Team in improving profitability, enterprise value, and competitive position.

Leads business and application architecture strategy for Treasury and SAP systems. Oversees complex implementations, integrations, requirements, testing, vendor relationships, technical documentation, production support, system controls, and process improvements. Serves as a strategic systems advisor and product owner while coordinating cross-functional teams, troubleshooting business-impacting issues, supporting Treasury applications, and ensuring data integrity and quality. Provides coaching, stakeholder communication, and occasional global on-call support.

Advise optometric practices on business performance through high-level P&L reviews, operational assessments, benchmark reporting, and strategic recommendations. Identify improvement and profit opportunities across practice management, staffing, optical operations, marketing, and revenue cycle management. Provide education, webinars, resources, and actionable guidance while coordinating handoffs to specialized advisors and supporting member engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

Processes employee HR inquiries involving policies, benefits, payroll, leave, workers’ compensation, and disability management. Uses HR knowledge bases and reference materials to resolve issues, explains benefits, liaises with vendors, identifies recurring problems, improves processes, and escalates complex cases. Requires strong communication, confidentiality, customer service, attention to detail, multitasking, and proficiency with HRIS, timekeeping, payroll, and related applications.

Manages business and systems analysts supporting enterprise projects, strategic initiatives, sales and service technology, and operational process improvements. Allocates staff, oversees performance and development, resolves complex workflow and production issues, coordinates vendors and departments, standardizes platforms, and ensures automated solutions meet business needs. Builds strong internal relationships, educates business partners, maintains communication, and acts as a subject matter expert for sales and service processes.

Requires extensive GAAP and NAIC Model Audit Rule knowledge, management experience, analytical ability, and senior stakeholder influence.
