Leads Vast’s legal and regulatory compliance framework for export controls, FCC and spectrum licensing, CFIUS, facility clearance, FOCI mitigation, and commercial space policy. Advises cross-functional teams on ITAR/EAR, foreign-person access, licensing, national security matters, and international partnerships. Partners with DCSA, government agencies, outside counsel, and internal stakeholders while supporting regulatory engagement, compliance investigations, and special legal projects.

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for thermal and environmental control hardware used in human-rated space stations. Design, fabricate, activate, troubleshoot, and maintain pressurized ground equipment and test articles. Create manufacturing plans and assembly procedures, perform hands-on integration and testing, resolve production issues through root cause analysis, provide design-for-manufacturability feedback, coordinate suppliers and quality teams, and drive continuous improvement.

Supports external communications and marketing for space stations, satellites, and lunar infrastructure. Responsibilities include media pitching, reporter relationship management, monitoring coverage, responding to inquiries, managing speaking and awards calendars, drafting communications materials, coordinating technical, legal, and export-control reviews, maintaining messaging, and tracking project timelines across teams.
