The role follows a hybrid schedule with four days onsite in Richfield, Ohio, and one remote day.

Manages workers compensation claims from investigation through resolution, evaluating coverage, liability, compensability, damages, reserves, and settlements. Negotiates claims, authorizes payments, maintains detailed files, communicates with insureds and claimants, and may participate in arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials. The role requires strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance, claims procedures, applicable regulations, negotiation, and caseload prioritization.

Manage a large inventory of complex California workers' compensation claims, lead investigations, determine liability and coverage, negotiate settlements and reserves within authority, maintain detailed claim files, authorize payments, and potentially coach or supervise staff.

Supports IT project planning and execution by defining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budgets, and timelines. Tracks project performance, manages risks and changes, maintains documentation, and provides status updates to stakeholders and senior management. Collaborates with project teams to promote accountability and quality delivery. May serve as a Scrum Master, facilitating agile teams and coaching stakeholders on team interactions.

Lead product development for commercial transportation insurance: perform market research, collaborate with underwriting/actuarial/claims, design pricing and policy language, maintain product roadmaps, drive launches, deliver training, and mentor staff to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

Lead the definition and governance of enterprise data architecture and integration strategies. Design and optimize data warehouses, databases, and analytical environments; establish data modeling, metadata, and governance standards.
