Manage end-to-end legal and regulatory compliance for an NBFC’s lending and operational activities. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing lending documents, borrower and property due diligence, transaction structuring, RBI and NBFC regulatory compliance, statutory filings, litigation and recovery management, and coordination with internal teams, regulators, clients, and external counsel. The role also supports credit decisions, monitors compliance timelines, and recommends risk mitigation strategies.

The Senior Manager of Legal will advise management on corporate, commercial, employment, regulatory, and compliance matters; draft and negotiate contracts; oversee litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution; lead legal due diligence and transactions; manage regulatory interactions; develop legal risk and governance frameworks; and support legal operations. The role also leads legal transformation initiatives, manages external counsel, mentors the legal team, and provides strategic guidance across business functions.

Supports treasury, investment, banking, and finance operations, including transaction processing, cash-flow monitoring, reconciliations, banking facilities, regulatory reporting, KYC coordination, MIS preparation, and financial data analysis. The role maintains investment and banking records, ensures compliance with policies and statutory requirements, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and assists senior finance managers with process improvements.
