Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across U.S. and international entities. Oversee accounting operations, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, AP/AR, billing, collections, revenue recognition, controls, compliance, audits, budgeting, forecasting, and finance systems. Partner with FP&A and business leaders, manage external finance providers, improve automation and reporting, and help build the Finance team in a high-growth SaaS environment.

Own and scale Utila’s enterprise sales across the United States by acquiring new logos, expanding strategic accounts, managing complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and closing high-value deals. Develop regional go-to-market strategy, build executive customer and partner relationships, collaborate with Marketing and Product, provide market feedback, and manage forecasting, revenue targets, qualification, CRM hygiene, and reporting.

Serve as Utila's first LATAM Technical Support Engineer: investigate and resolve customer issues, collaborate with Product/Engineering/Customer Success, build processes, and provide structured reporting to ensure customer success.

Support full sales cycle as a technical partner: lead discovery, demos, integration scoping, RFP/RFI and security questionnaire responses, run technical deep-dives, advise technical stakeholders, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to inform roadmap while supporting compliance and operational reviews.

Own day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple subsidiaries including intercompany transactions; manage AP, expense reimbursements, bank and credit card reconciliations; support month/quarter/year-end close, payroll journals and accruals; maintain statutory reporting (withholding tax, VAT), audit-ready records, and coordinate with external accountants/auditors. Handle ad-hoc cross-company finance projects.

The Sales Engineer will support the sales cycle, focusing on technical discovery, RFPs, and integration for fintech solutions. They will act as a bridge between technical and business teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment on product offerings.

Own and evolve Utila's cloud infrastructure and delivery platform: design IaC, manage GCP/AWS environments, run Kubernetes, build CI/CD, improve observability and incident response, embed security best practices, and collaborate on architecture and backend (Go) readiness.
