The Junior Accountant maintains financial records, prepares and reviews client financial statements, reconciles general ledger and balance sheet accounts, records payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries, and supports month-end and year-end close. The role uses QuickBooks, Xero, Excel, and ERP systems to analyze financial data, assist with reporting, and document internal processes.

Owns full-cycle accounting for a multi-entity agricultural operation, including general ledger, payables, receivables, reconciliations, payroll, financial statements, budgeting, and reporting. The role processes daily transactions, maintains accounting documentation, coordinates with tax advisors and lenders, and presents quarterly financial results to ownership. Requires strong GAAP knowledge, accuracy, QuickBooks Online and Excel proficiency, and substantial accounting experience.

Provides full-cycle accounting services for agricultural clients, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, financial statements, reconciliations, payroll, payroll tax payments, budgeting, and budget-to-actual analysis. Reviews and corrects client transactions, supports GAAP compliance, coaches client staff, and leads quarterly financial review meetings to provide actionable insights.

Provides full-cycle accounting services for farm clients, including general ledger maintenance, month-end close, financial reporting, payroll processing, reconciliations, fixed asset and loan schedule management, audit support, and variance analysis. The role also involves client communication, financial record cleanup, confidentiality, and identifying additional service opportunities.

Leads regional business development by prospecting for grower accounts, conducting outreach, presenting tailored agricultural solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing new business. Builds territory sales plans, attends trade events, conducts customer meetings, and partners with internal teams on onboarding. Requires extensive agribusiness sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency, a driver’s license, and travel up to 50%.

Processes and reviews crop insurance applications, endorsements, and claims for accuracy, compliance, and timely submission. Verifies crop data and supporting documentation, investigates discrepancies, maintains records, monitors workflows, and enters information into business systems. Provides customer service to clients and internal teams while complying with federal and state regulations.
