Lead creation and growth of UKCEH's first fundraising function and a £50m multi‑year campaign. Build strategy, governance, systems and team; cultivate major donors, foundations, corporates and public supporters; craft compelling cases for support; align fundraising with communications, board and science teams; track ROI and ensure programme sustainability by 2028.

Provide specialist employee relations advice across UKCEH, supporting managers with absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases; conduct investigations, attend formal hearings, deliver training, develop HR policies, analyse ER trends, and lead projects to improve engagement, wellbeing and inclusion.

Support UKCEH's international ambitions by developing partnerships across Asia-Pacific, conducting stakeholder mapping and strategic intelligence, coordinating internal reporting and liaison between scientists and external partners, arranging high-level engagements, and helping build a pipeline of collaborative projects and funding opportunities.

Develop and calibrate reduced-complexity nonlinear dynamical systems and statistical models to improve Early Warning Systems for climate tipping points. Evaluate models and Earth System Models against multisensor Earth Observation data, quantify uncertainty, design blind tests, manage project workstreams, and contribute to funding proposals and dissemination through publications and stakeholder engagement.
