Provides intensive daily supervision of juveniles in a community-based program. Coordinates safety, security, tool-control, restraint, inspection, training, incident-review, and regulatory-compliance activities at a juvenile detention facility. Conducts inquiries, prepares reports, maintains inspection and training records, supports safety meetings and committees, reviews policies, and ensures compliance with OSHA, health, fire, ACA, PREA, and state detention standards. Requires 24/7 on-call availability and the ability to respond to physical incidents and restrain detained residents.

Leads Tulsa County Development Services, overseeing planning, permitting, inspections, staff, budgets, policies, and departmental programs. Prepares planning documents and recommendations, manages zoning and development reviews, ensures code and regulatory compliance, coordinates intergovernmental projects, and represents the department before officials, boards, agencies, communities, developers, and the public. The role supervises professional staff, resolves complex issues, administers budgets, and provides strategic direction for county planning and development services.

Provides administrative and clerical support to the Planning Department and Tulsa County. Duties include receiving visitors, coordinating meetings, preparing correspondence and reports, processing Board of County Commissioners transmittals and land-use notices, encumbering purchase orders, receiving goods and services, processing invoices, maintaining records, and performing bookkeeping and other departmental tasks.

Maintains golf course grounds and turf, operates tractors and specialized mowing and grading equipment, applies fertilizers and pesticides, irrigates turf, prepares greens, cleans traps, repairs roadbeds, and maintains trees and shrubs. The role requires heavy outdoor manual labor, safe equipment operation, chemical-label comprehension, and adherence to safety-sensitive drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Manages Tulsa County’s GIS and Mapping Services Department, including staff supervision, parcel-based mapping, case map production, GIS database integrity, data standards, quality control, workflow, licensing, vendors, budgets, and stakeholder coordination. Reviews legal descriptions and resolves complex mapping issues while ensuring accurate, timely GIS services for planning departments and member communities.

Lead county-wide IT strategy and operations, manage infrastructure, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, budgets, and IT staff; oversee projects, vendor relations, compliance, and responsible AI/automation adoption to support Board objectives.

Support juvenile justice staff through supervised internship activities: complete internship agreements, follow policies, engage respectfully with clients, work varied shifts, and contribute to a safe, treatment-oriented environment while meeting academic requirements.

Perform manual and semiskilled turf and grounds maintenance on a golf course: mow greens, tees, fairways and rough; operate tractors and power equipment; irrigate using hose and sprinkler systems; prepare and repair turf areas, bunkers, and roadbeds; plant/trim/spray vegetation; follow chemical label instructions and safety procedures.

Operate light road-construction equipment, perform manual road and right-of-way maintenance (shoveling, raking, ditching, mowing), haul materials, perform minor equipment repairs, collect trash, and follow safety and traffic control procedures.
