Own fixed asset accounting and controls across multiple locations. Maintain asset records, record additions and disposals, calculate depreciation, monitor construction-in-progress, reconcile subledgers to the general ledger, prepare reports, coordinate physical inventories and audits, and support capital budgeting, ERP improvements, leases, and government-furnished property accounting. Partner with Facilities, Procurement, IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate asset tracking and compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, allocations, fixed assets, prepaids, variance analysis, and financial statement preparation. Improve accounting processes, implement controls and policies, support CAS and government contract accounting, collaborate across teams, and assist with audits. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, ownership, problem-solving, and experience with NetSuite and potentially government or aerospace accounting.

Owns nonlabor program costs, cost variance analysis, budgets, forecasts, and end-to-end inventory accounting. Establishes cost controls, reconciliations, and scalable accounting processes; ensures GAAP, CAS, FAR, and DCAA compliance. Partners with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program Management, supports financial reporting and audits, and improves cost flows and close-cycle efficiency.
