Provides supervised behavioral health and rehabilitation support to clients recovering from substance use and dual disorders. Duties include facilitating groups and educational classes, supporting social and life-skills activities, assisting with referrals and discharge planning, coordinating services, maintaining case records, and participating in treatment-team meetings. The intern works under licensed clinical supervision while gaining practical experience through a sponsoring college or university.

Coordinates nursing and medical services in a residential behavioral health setting. Oversees medication self-administration, medication safety, health records, staff coverage, provider appointments, assessments, testing, lab coordination, health education, and nursing staff direction and training. Reviews applicant medical histories, supports admissions, ensures compliance with licensing standards, and provides on-call availability.

Scan, index, and archive Accounts Payable documents in SharePoint; record and track medication receipts and prescriptions in Behavioral Health software; support the Finance Manager with administrative, accounting, and recordkeeping tasks; maintain accurate electronic records for audits and compliance.

Provide peer-based support and case management to individuals with mental health and substance use challenges. Serve as a recovery role model, engage clients and criminal-justice-involved individuals, assist with enrollment and linkages to services, facilitate peer groups using Illness Management and Recovery, attend treatment team meetings, and give consumer-perspective feedback to providers and community forums.

Provides peer-based support and case management to individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges. Engages clients, offers lived-experience guidance, facilitates peer group support, assists enrollment and recovery planning, and liaises with providers to improve services.

Provide peer-based recovery support and case management: engage individuals, link to community and clinical services, facilitate peer support groups, assist enrollment, develop recovery plans, and serve as a consumer voice in service transformation.

Provide front-desk and clerical support: answer and route calls, greet visitors, sort and distribute mail, maintain reception and common areas, type reports, manage records and supplies, operate office equipment, and perform additional administrative duties to support staff and programs.

Provide peer-based support and consumer perspective to improve community behavioral health services. Engage individuals in recovery, assist with enrollment and case linkages, facilitate peer groups using Illness Management and Recovery, participate in treatment teams, advise providers on recovery-friendly environments, and maintain individualized recovery plans. Serve as a role model, leveraging lived experience and competency; seek clinician guidance when needed.
