Conduct end-to-end KYB due diligence for business customers, verifying corporate documents, identifying UBOs, screening entities and individuals, assessing risk, reviewing alerts, performing enhanced due diligence, escalating suspicious or high-risk cases, and maintaining regulatory documentation and audit trails.

Owns the design, development, deployment, and operation of high-throughput payment microservices handling ACH, SEPA, wires, card rails, and LATAM payment systems. Responsibilities include banking integrations, reconciliation, distributed-systems reliability, AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, database optimization, incident response, architecture leadership, technical mentoring, and regulatory compliance for financial data.

Own Transak’s Compliance and KYC product area, including onboarding, identity verification, tiered KYC, jurisdictional configuration, and partner APIs. Define strategy, metrics, and roadmap; write PRDs; collaborate with Design, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Operations; and use analytics, SQL, experimentation, and feedback to improve conversion, verification costs, risk outcomes, and scalability across regions.

Build, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services in Node.js within a microservices environment. Model data in MongoDB, use Redis for caching and queues, write unit/integration tests, debug production issues, follow secure coding practices, collaborate with product and frontend teams, and learn distributed systems and asynchronous patterns to improve reliability and performance.

Own and architect high-throughput Node.js payment microservices handling fiat transactions across multiple currencies and regulatory jurisdictions. Design resilient, traceable, idempotent, and reconciliable systems; lead banking and payment-partner integrations; and operate AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, databases, caching, monitoring, and on-call processes. Drive technical roadmaps, author design documents, mentor engineers, collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Operations, and maintain security and compliance standards for financial data.

Own and strengthen existing product partnerships across payments, crypto infrastructure, wallets, exchanges, banks, PSPs, and fintechs. Manage account plans, business reviews, escalations, integration health, service quality, revenue performance, renewals, and expansion opportunities. Translate partner needs into product and integration plans while coordinating Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams. Track performance metrics, protect revenue continuity, negotiate commercial terms, and provide ecosystem intelligence to leadership.

Mid-level Data Scientist (2–5 years) focused on risk, fraud, and compliance. Build and deploy ML models and deterministic rules, run funnel and A/B experiment analyses, create dashboards, partner with Product/Growth/Engineering, and improve data quality and instrumentation.
